- Lead improvement efforts to achieve organizational goals within the quality and safety performance improvement plan.
- Educate the patient/family regarding health status and established plan of care.
- Evaluate the patient's progress towards expected outcomes.
- Coordinate and direct unit activities to create a healing environment.
- Lead unit projects to improve unit throughput efficiencies and metrics.
- Comply with unit-based and organizational professional standards.
- Collect, assess, and document patient healthcare data.
- Lead interventions in the coordination of patient care.
- Analyze delegation practices to ensure activities are followed through.
- Serve as a support, resource, and preceptor for nursing staff and students.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing required
Experience:
- Current Registered Professional Nurse in New York
Licenses &
Certifications:
- Registered Nurse License-NYS
- Basic Life Support Certification through the American Heart Association
