We are looking for a compassionate Pediatric PACU RN to join our client’s leading outpatient specialty care team in New York City. This role provides hands‑on pre‑and post‑anesthesia care to children in a collaborative, patient‑focused environment.
The annual base salary range is $110,000 to $135,000. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities- Deliver pre‑ and post‑procedure nursing care for pediatric patients undergoing anesthesia or sedation
- Conduct assessments, start IVs, and monitor central lines as needed
- Support safe patient recovery and provide discharge instructions to children and their families
- Collaborate with anesthesia providers, physicians, and clinical staff to ensure high‑quality care
- Educate patients and caregivers about symptom management, recovery, and follow‑up care
- Maintain accurate EMR documentation and support quality improvement initiatives
- Assist with operational and nursing duties in a fast‑paced environment
- NYS RN license required
- BSN required
- Minimum 2 years of nursing experience
- Prior pediatric PACU, perioperative, procedural, or critical care experience preferred
- Strong clinical, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and adapt to changing patient needs
- Work with a collaborative and compassionate clinical team
