Weekend RN Supervisor – Nursing Leadership Opportunity (Part-Time)

Facility: Throgs Neck Rehabilitation and Nursing Center
Location: Bronx, NY
Schedule: All Shifts Available 12 hr Shifts
Pay Rate: Up to $60/hour

Throgs Neck Rehabilitation and Nursing Center is seeking an experienced and dedicated Weekend Registered Nurse (RN) Supervisor to join our leadership team. This part-time opportunity is ideal for a skilled nursing professional who is passionate about providing exceptional resident care while supporting and mentoring nursing staff. Position Responsibilities:
  • Partner with the Director of Nursing (DON) and Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to support daily nursing operations.
  • Supervise, guide, and support nursing staff to ensure quality care and compliance with facility policies, procedures, and regulations.
  • Conduct routine rounds to monitor resident care, staff performance, and overall facility standards.
  • Assist with regulatory surveys, audits, and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Address clinical concerns and collaborate with the team to maintain a safe and effective care environment.
  • Promote teamwork, accountability, and excellence throughout the nursing department.
Qualifications:
  • Current and active RN License in the State of New York
    .
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in long-term care or rehabilitation nursing
    .
  • Previous supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
  • Strong clinical judgment, leadership abilities, and decision‑making skills.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem‑solving skills.
