Clinical Triage Manager

Midtown Manhattan | Full-Time | Days

Join our growing Clinical Triage Program in this exciting leadership opportunity. As the Clinical Triage Manager, you will lead the development and expansion of a critical clinical triage function within our Contact Center. This role sits at the intersection of patient care, clinical operations, and contact center strategy, helping to enhance patient access and navigation across the healthcare continuum.

As a clinical content expert and operational leader, you'll collaborate with physicians, nurses, contact center leadership, and key stakeholders to build and optimize a telephonic nurse triage program designed around patient-centered navigation principles.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the growth and operational oversight of the Clinical Triage team within the Contact Center
  • Design, develop, implement, and maintain telephonic nurse triage services that support patient navigation goals
  • Create and standardize clinical triage workflows, protocols, and procedures to ensure patients are directed to the appropriate level of care
  • Partner with contact center leadership and clinical departments to improve patient access and care coordination
  • Evaluate patient and stakeholder needs and integrate those insights into triage processes and operational improvements
  • Build scalable clinical operations that support growth, efficiency, and exceptional patient experiences
  • Analyze complex clinical and operational information to drive decision-making and process improvement
  • Ensure and support staff performance and operations to align with organizational goals, values, and quality standards
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master of Science in Nursing (MSN)
  • Experience utilizing electronic nurse triage software
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
  • Current New York State Registered Nurse (RN) license
  • 5+ years of clinical nursing experience
  • 3+ years of clinical leadership or management experience
  • 2+ years of telephone triage experience
  • Experience building and scaling clinical operations to meet organizational objectives
  • Administrative experience, including stakeholder engagement, project management, budgeting, and timeline management
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency working across clinical and operational technology platforms
  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information in accordance with organizational policies
