The Registered Nurse provides direct care to patients with Hematological and Oncological diseases through infusion therapy. This role is ideal for those who are committed to excellence and passionate about making a difference in patient care.

  Full-Time, Day shift

• Provide direct care to patients with Hematological and Oncological diseases.
• Complete Admission Nursing Assessments on new and returning patients.
• Triage side effects of therapies and complete routine skin and toxicity assessments.
• Provide education to patients and families related to disease, treatment, and symptom management.
• Administer chemotherapy/biotherapy as prescribed and verify orders prior to administration.
• Provide non-oncologic infusion-related treatments to patients within the community.
• Document patient interactions, assessments, and responses to care in the EMR.
• Discuss the care plan with the provider.

• BSN required

• Infusion experience, outpatient oncology experience, or medical oncology experience preferred

• Current NYS RN license
• BLS from American Heart Association required
• Chemotherapy/biotherapy administration certification preferred
