Elderwood Staffing Solutions (ESS) is Elderwood's internal staffing program designed for experienced clinicians who want greater control over when and where they work.

ESS nurses may have opportunities to work at Elderwood at North Creek and other Elderwood locations based on staffing needs.

• • Flexible scheduling

  • Ability to pick up shifts based on availability

  • Exposure to multiple clinical settings

• • Active NYS RN License

  • Minimum of two (2) years of clinical nursing experience

  • Commitment to:

    • Four (4) shifts per month

    • Two (2) weekend shifts per month

    • Two (2) holidays per year

• Direct and monitor the personal care duties and nursing care procedures carried out by Nursing Assistants of the assigned team.
• Assist Nursing Assistants with direct care of residents, as necessary.
• Report to RN Unit Manager/Assistant Unit Manager or Charge RN Supervisor unusual symptoms, changes of condition, daily needs, and progress of residents.
• Follow the Plan of Care for each resident, and monitor the performance of Nursing Assistants in implementation of the care plan.
