The Assistant Director of Nursing at NYC Health and Hospitals is responsible for overseeing nursing services, developing administrative procedures, and ensuring high-quality patient care. This role is ideal for experienced nursing professionals with leadership skills.

• Assists in the development of administrative procedures and programs of patient care.
• Assesses nursing services by making rounds, conducting chart review and evaluating patient care.
• Utilizes trauma registry data to develop and direct injury prevention.

• Master's Degree in Nursing Administration, Education, Clinical Specialty or equivalent field required; or Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing.

• Five years of satisfactory nursing experience, with three years in a supervisory or teaching capacity; or six years of satisfactory nursing experience, with four years in a supervisory or teaching capacity.

• Licensed and currently registered to practice as a professional nurse in New York State.
