This established medical facility provides emergency department services to the regional patient population. The facility maintains clinical protocols and appropriate resources to support quality emergency care delivery on an on-site basis. Infrastructure is in place to accommodate locum tenens clinicians during assigned coverage periods.

The Emergency Medicine Nurse Practitioner will provide clinical coverage during day and night shifts at this on-site emergency department in New York. Shift schedules vary by day:
Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday shifts are structured as 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM, 11:00 AM - 11:00 PM, or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM;
Monday and Wednesday shifts are structured as 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM, 4:30 PM - 12:30 AM, or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM. Clinicians will evaluate and manage emergency department presentations across all age groups while maintaining accurate clinical documentation in the Epic EMR system throughout each assigned shift. Board certification and prescriptive authority are required for this assignment.
