Description:
Manages and has 24/7 responsibility for the nursing practice, patient care delivery, human and fiscal resources, and regulatory compliance of a patient care unit. Maintains a professional environment that supports the delivery of high-quality patient and family-centered care. Manages and leads team members, operations, and patient care activities within a patient care unit during assigned shifts. Responsible for recruitment and retention, team building, and staff cross-training.
