In this role, you'll provide high-quality nursing care, perform clinical assessments, administer medications and treatments, and help ensure the health, safety, and well-being of residents. RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Ensure the completion of treatments for residents and support nursing

* Provide nursing care in accordance with resident assessments, care plans, and facility policies

* Perform resident assessments and monitor changes in condition, communicating concerns to providers, supervisors, and families as appropriate

* Administer medications, treatments, IV therapies, and enteral feedings within the RN scope of practice

* Accurately document assessments, care provided, treatments, and resident responses

* Supervise and support Nursing Assistants to ensure quality resident care and timely completion of assigned tasks

* Coordinate care with physicians, nurse practitioners, therapists, and other interdisciplinary team members

* Ensure resident care plans and clinical documentation remain current and accurate

* Follow infection control, safety, resident rights, and confidentiality standards

* Participate in quality improvement initiatives and ongoing staff education activities

* Perform additional duties as assigned

REQUIREMENTS:

* Associate's Degree in Nursing required;
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred

* Valid NYS Registered Nurse (RN) License required

* Current CPR Certification required

* Experience in a skilled nursing facility or with the geriatric population preferred

* Strong clinical assessment, medication administration, and critical thinking skills

* Excellent communication, organizational, and documentation abilities

* Ability to supervise nursing assistants and collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams
