Director of Nursing

Currently seeking a Director of Nursing to lead a nursing team at a skilled nursing facility located in Croton-On Hudson, NY

$10K SIGN ON BONUS

Base Salary: $140K to $160K range

Requirements of the Director of Nursing:

• Must have a New York RN license

• MUST have a minimum of 3-5+ years of experience as an ADON or DON

• Must have recent experience as an Assistant Director of Nursing or Director of Nursing in a long-term care/skilled nursing setting

• Must have long-term care experience

• Sub-acute experience strongly preferred

• Sigma Care experience preferred

• Must be a self-starter and energetic

• Strong clinical background and knowledge

• Proven leadership and management skills

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Responsibilities of the Director of Nursing:

Supervises all nursing staff in the facility

Development and implementation of nursing policy and procedure

Overseeing the hiring and continued employment of nursing staff

Ensuring there is adequate nursing staff, and that the staff's skills remain current

Overseeing nursing employee conduct

Being knowledgeable of incidents at the facility

Assessing the health needs of each resident
