Role: OR Nurse Educator responsible for supporting perioperative staff through education, competency development, onboarding, and ongoing clinical training.
Key Responsibilities- Provide education, coaching, and training to OR nursing staff.
- Develop and implement clinical competencies, skills validation, and annual training programs.
- Support onboarding for new OR staff and travelers.
- Collaborate with surgeons, leadership, and perioperative teams to enhance workflow and patient outcomes.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, regulatory standards, and best practices in the surgical department.
- Active NYS RN license.
- Extensive OR experience (scrub and/or circulating).
- Experience in OR education, precepting, or training preferred.
- BLS certification required; ACLS preferred.
