Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant to provide personalized care to patients in their homes or healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will possess a strong clinical background and be adept at delivering high‑quality nursing care tailored to individual patient needs. This role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to enhancing the quality of life for patients with varying medical conditions.

Duties
  • Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients, including monitoring vital signs and assessing health status.

  • Administer medications as prescribed and ensure proper documentation of medication administration.

  • Perform phlebotomy procedures when necessary, ensuring adherence to aseptic techniques.

  • Collaborate with healthcare teams in hospitals or Level I Trauma Centers to develop and implement patient care plans.

  • Provide support for patients with disabilities, ensuring their comfort and safety during care.

  • Educate patients and families about health management, medication usage, and lifestyle modifications.

  • Maintain accurate records of patient progress and communicate any changes in condition to the healthcare team.

  • Assist in emergency medicine situations as needed, utilizing knowledge of anatomy and medical‑surgical practices.

Qualifications
  • Active and unrestricted CNA license in NY STate.

  • Experience in medical‑surgical nursing or working within a hospital environment is preferred.

  • Familiarity with emergency medicine protocols and practices is advantageous.

  • Strong knowledge of anatomy and aseptic techniques is essential.

  • Ability to work effectively with individuals with disabilities, demonstrating empathy and patience.

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective patient interaction and documentation.

  • Ability to work independently while adhering to established protocols and guidelines.
