Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate RN Registered Nurse Unit Manager to join our team at Pinnacle Multicare Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, located in the heart of The Bronx, New York. As a Unit Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our nursing unit, ensuring high-quality patient care, and providing leadership to our team of registered nurses.
RNRegistered Nurse Unit Manager Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations of the nursing unit, including staffing, scheduling, and resource allocation
- Develop and implement care plans that meet the unique needs of each patient
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care and achieve exceptional patient outcomes
- Provide leadership and guidance to registered nurses, ensuring excellent clinical practice and patient satisfaction
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient care and progress
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to drive continuous improvement and excellence in patient care
- Develop and manage budgets to ensure effective resource allocation and fiscal responsibility
- Foster a positive and inclusive work environment that promotes teamwork, communication, and respect

RNRegistered Nurse Unit Manager Requirements:
- RN degree or equivalent
- Current New York State RN licensure
- Prior experience as a registered nurse, with a strong background in patient care and leadership
- Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions
- Compassion, empathy, and a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care
