Registered Nurse – Cardiac Cath Lab​/EP

Cardiac Cath Lab Nurse

Provide specialized nursing care to cardiac catheterization and electrophysiology patients in a Cardiac Cath Lab setting. Ensure patient safety and support diagnostic and interventional procedures with a focus on critical care standards.

Responsibilities:

• Administer IV medications and perform phlebotomy as needed for patient procedures.
• Assist with conscious sedation and monitor patient during invasive cardiac procedures.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Document patient assessments, procedures, and interventions accurately.
• Maintain strict adherence to safety protocols and infection control procedures.

Qualifications:

• Possess a minimum of two (2) years of critical care nursing experience.
• Hold an active New York State RN license with primary source verification.
• Demonstrate proficient IV insertion and phlebotomy skills.
• Have experience with conscious sedation administration and monitoring.
• Maintain current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications.
