Registered Nurse – House Supervisor

House Supervisor Opportunity

Seeking an experienced House Supervisor to oversee nursing operations during evening, night, weekends, and holiday shifts in a 180-bed skilled nursing facility. The RN will coordinate patient care, staff mentoring, and operational activities across multiple specialized units.

Responsibilities:

• Manage patient flow and clinical operations during off-hours, ensuring quality care and compliance with regulatory standards.
• Provide clinical expertise and problem-solving support to staff, facilitating efficient unit functioning.
• Mentor and coach nursing staff to uphold performance standards and enhance team effectiveness.
• Oversee incident reporting, infection control, and emergency preparedness procedures across units.
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure smooth transitions and optimal patient outcomes.

Qualifications:

• License:
  Current New York State Registered Nurse (RN) license in hand.
• Experience:
  
  Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, with prior charge or leadership experience.
• Skills:
  
  Proficient in EPIC charting, wound management, IV starts, and managing complex clinical equipment.
• Certifications:
  
  BLS required; additional specialties or certifications are a plus.
• Knowledge:
  Familiar with regulatory compliance (TJC, OSHA, DPH), infection control, and risk management.
