About This Role
The Staff RN I-Ambulatory Respiratory is responsible for the care activities and goal achievements of assigned patients, focusing on assessing, diagnosing, planning, and intervening in health problems while evaluating patient responses to care.

- Schedule: Full-Time, Monday - Friday 10am-6pm
- Conduct nursing assessments based on interviews, examinations, observations, and record reviews.
- Ensure patient progress is reflected in progress notes and revised care plans.
- Plan discharges consistent with patient status and inter-departmental communication.
- Communicate information to patients based on their level of awareness and readiness to learn.
- Support orientation of new staff members by providing feedback and acting as a preceptor.
- Function as a professional role model and mentor for students and volunteers.
- Organize patient care assignments reflecting patient needs and personnel skill levels.
- Communicate patient conditions requiring additional intervention to leadership.
- Participate in the development of other staff members.
- Reflect collaborative efforts in meeting patient and unit needs through communication.
Education:
- Graduation from an accredited Nursing program.
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or active matriculation in a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing Program preferred.
Experience:
- Documented previous experience or educational preparation to support credentials.
Licenses &
Certifications:
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program Certificate (Required for L&D, NICU)
- ACLS (Required for ED, PACU/ASU, ICUs, Telemetry Units, SDU, IR, L&D, Endoscopy, and APN Adult Oncology)
- BCLS
- PALS (Required for ED, PACU, IR, Peds ICU, and APNs Pediatric Oncology)
