The Nurse Manager for Patient Care in Endoscopy is responsible for overseeing nursing practice, patient care delivery, and regulatory compliance within the unit. This role is ideal for experienced nursing leaders who are committed to high-quality, patient-centered care.

• Manage and have 24/7 responsibility for team members, operations, and patient care activities of a patient care unit.
• Assist nursing leadership in setting strategic direction for key programs.
• Communicate, build consensus, and guide the team toward achieving department objectives.
• Promote and maintain high-quality patient and family-centered care.
• Create a professional work environment that fosters respect, engagement, and accountability.
• Promote evidence-based, ethical, and compassionate practice.
• Acquire and manage staffing for the patient care unit.
• Provide direction and guidance to unit team members and supervisors.
• Facilitate performance reviews, promotions, and corrective actions.
• Serve as a role model for standards of professional practice.

• Bachelors of Science Degree in Nursing required, Masters preferred.

• 6-8 years of nursing experience required.
• 2-5 years of leadership/management experience required.
• Endoscopy experience required.

• Current license to practice as a Registered Professional Nurse in New York State required.
• Specialized certifications as needed.
