Job Details

Our Float Pool RNs:

* Be responsible for floating between various Nursing Units throughout the hospital based on need

* Assess, monitor, administer medication, document progress, and overall management of care for the patient population on the nursing unit

* Partner with an interdisciplinary team including, but not limited to, attending physicians, Registered Nurses (RNs), and ancillary staff to optimize patient outcomes and satisfaction.

* Advocate for and build meaningful relationships with patients and their loved ones through safety intervention, emotional support, and education.

Qualifications:

* Passion for caring for a diverse patient population

* New Grad RNs will be considered

* 1+ Years of acute care hospital based nursing (RN) experience preferred

* Education:

Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing required

* Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree required or currently enrolled in a BSN program

* Licensure:
New York Registered Nurse (RN) License & Registration required

* Certification: AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) & Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications required

* ACLS must be attained within 6 months of hire

Salary Range

USD $54.97 - USD $64.20 /Hr.

This range serves as a good faith estimate and actual pay will encompass a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience. The salary range or rate listed does not include any bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation that may be applicable to this job and it does not include the value of benefits.
