Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) - Part Time Nights

Must be available for full-shift orientation on a Tuesday or Thursday. Position requires 2 shifts one week and 3 shifts the following week, including weekend shifts.

The Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) works under the direction of licensed nursing personnel to perform direct and indirect resident care. This role requires the individual to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care that is appropriate to the age of patients served and to assess data reflective of each patient's status, ensuring that their individual care needs are met.

• Meet residents' Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) needs as outlined in the care plan, ensuring hygiene, grooming, dressing, incontinence/catheter care, elimination/toileting needs, turning/positioning, and skin care.
• Maintain residents' environment and safety, including prompt response to call lights and alarms, provision of safety mats and low beds, and reporting changes in physical or emotional status.
• Ensure residents' nutritional needs are met according to the care plan, including meal delivery and feeding assistance, while honoring preferences and choices.
• Support residents' rehabilitative needs, including range of motion exercises, ambulation, and proper body alignment.
• Report all resident rights, refusals, and concerns to the Charge Nurse in a timely fashion.

• NYS Nursing Assistant Certification
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from AHA or RQI
• One (1) year of previous long-term care (LTC) experience
