Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) - Full Time

Full Time, 37.5 hours/week with Day and Night shifts as needed. Every other weekend and holidays required.

Under the direction of licensed nursing personnel, the Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) performs direct and indirect resident care within the scope of practice. The CNA must demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide age-appropriate care for adult and geriatric patient groups.

• Meet residents' Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) as outlined in the plan of care, including hygiene, grooming, dressing, and toileting needs.
• Maintain residents' environment and safety, including addressing call lights promptly and ensuring cleanliness.
• Assist with residents' nutritional needs, including meal delivery and feeding assistance while respecting their preferences.
• Support residents' rehabilitative needs, including mobility assistance and proper body alignment.
• Report changes in residents' physical, emotional, and psychosocial status to Charge Nurse promptly and adhere to safety protocols.

• NYS Nursing Assistant Certification and BLS certification (AHA/RQI only) required.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in Long-Term Care (LTC) setting as a CNA.
