Job Summary: The Registered Professional Nurse provides safe, competent, and quality care based on nursing theory and research to a designated group of patients and their significant others. This role involves delivering patient care through the professional practice model of Relationship Centered Care, utilizing the nursing process, evidence-based practices, and organizational standards. The RN collaborates with interdisciplinary healthcare teams, educates patients and caregivers, and ensures a therapeutic relationship with patients and families.

The role also includes responsibilities in patient experience, quality and safety, operations, and professional development.

Required Qualifications:

• Active NYS RN License
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience
• Minimum 2 years of Telemetry/Med-Surg experience
• 1 year of travel nursing experience for travel positions

• EPIC experience
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
• Associate degree in nursing considered with relevant experience or active matriculation in a BSN program

• Skills in ventilator management and telemetry
• Commitment to professional development and lifelong learning
