This is a great opportunity for a psych RN who enjoys building trust, supporting young patients, and working in a collaborative environment.
Position Details- Position: Registered Nurse (RN) - Adolescent Psychiatry
- Specialty: Psychiatric Nursing
- Assignment Length: 13 weeks
- Shift: 12-hour Days, 7:00 AM-7:30 PM
- Guaranteed
Hours:
34.5 hours/week - Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
- Holiday Requirement: At least 1 major holiday during the holiday season
- Active NY RN License
- Minimum 1 year of psychiatric nursing experience
- Pediatric clinical experience required
- BLS - AHA
- ACLS
- PALS
- CPI or PMCS certification required prior to start
- De-escalation training required
- BSN preferred, but not required
- First-time travelers are welcome
- Must be compassionate, patient, flexible, and comfortable working with children and adolescents in behavioral health
