Registered Nurse RN NICU – Neonatal Intensive Care Unit $2494​/week

We’re seeking an experienced NICU Registered Nurse to provide specialized care for critically ill and premature newborns in a Level III NICU. This opportunity is ideal for a confident NICU RN who thrives in a high-acuity environment and is comfortable supporting pediatric and neonatal patients.

Position Details

• Position: Registered Nurse (RN)

• Specialty: NICU – Neonatal Intensive Care Unit

• Assignment Length: 13 weeks

• Shift: 12-hour Nights, 7:00 PM–7:30 AM

• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend

Requirements

• Active NY RN License

• Minimum 1 year of NICU experience

• Previous Level III NICU experience required

• Experience caring for intubated and mechanically ventilated neonates

• Experience with oscillators and advanced respiratory support

• Experience with NCPAP, Bubble CPAP, NIMV, and high-flow oxygen

• Strong IV insertion skills

• Central line experience

• OG/NG tube management

• Strong critical-thinking and clinical assessment skills

• Comfortable floating between NICU, PICU, Pediatrics, and Nursery

• First-time travelers are welcome

• BLS/BCLS

• ACLS

• PALS

• NRP – Neonatal Resuscitation Program
