RN Supervisor

Steuben Center for Rehabilitation and Healthcare in Bath, NY is seeking an Overnight RN Supervisor to lead and support nursing staff on the night shift in our skilled nursing and rehab facility. The RN Supervisor oversees resident care, ensures accurate assessments and documentation, manages medication administration, and responds to changes in condition. This role coordinates with CNAs and other team members, promotes infection control and regulatory compliance, and handles emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Supervise overnight nursing staff to ensure safe, high-quality resident care.
• Perform and review resident assessments, monitor conditions, and update care plans.
• Oversee and verify accurate medication administration and treatment delivery.
• Respond to clinical changes and emergencies, coordinating with on-call providers as needed.
• Ensure compliance with infection control, safety, and regulatory standards.
• Support, mentor, and guide CNAs and nursing staff, promoting teamwork and professionalism.
• Complete and review documentation, incident reports, and shift summaries in the EHR.
• Communicate with residents and families to address concerns and support resident dignity.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate overnight care needs.
• Participate in ongoing training and quality improvement initiatives.
