Shifts: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM or 11:00 AM – 11:00 PM
Job Description: We are seeking an experienced RN Level 4 – Cardiac / Registered Nurse First Assistant (RNFA) to join a high-performing surgical team in Rochester, NY. This role involves assisting in complex cardiac procedures, providing perioperative patient care, and collaborating closely with surgeons and multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Responsibilities- Assist surgeons during cardiac procedures as an RNFA
- Provide comprehensive preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative care
- Maintain sterile field and adhere to OR protocols
- Monitor patient status and respond to changes appropriately
- Collaborate with surgical and nursing teams to ensure high-quality care
- Minimum 2 years of cardiac RNFA experience
- Active New York State RN license
- AHA BLS and ACLS certifications
- CNOR certification required
- Pay starting at $2,700/week (based on schedule)
- Option for 36 or 48-hour work weeks
- Supportive team environment in a high-acuity cardiac setting
