Position: Dialysis Registered Nurse (RN)

Schedule

Per‑Diem, approximately two 13.3‑hour shifts starting at 4:30 am.

Compensation

Pay ranges from $45–$53 per hour, depending on nursing and dialysis experience.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare dialysis machine, its alarms, and treatment supplies and ensure quality standards are met.
  • Perform hemodialysis treatments per facility policies and procedures.
  • Provide ongoing patient education, training and health coaching.
  • Monitor patients during dialysis, assessing and communicating changes with physician and families.
  • Administer and chart all prescribed medications.
  • Follow CDC/CMS infection control regulations.
  • Participate in patient‑care conferences, rounds and chart reviews.
  • Document required patient education efforts.
  • Facilitate continuity of care with local hospitals.
  • Assist in medication inventory maintenance.
  • Lead a small patient‑care team.
  • Contribute to onboarding new staff members as directed.
  • Additional tasks as requested.
Qualifications
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Demonstrated clinical excellence.
  • Desire to collaborate with care teams.
  • Ability to problem‑solve.
Education / Training
  • Accredited nursing degree required.
  • Dialysis experience not required; job‑shadow opportunities available.
  • DCI provides 3‑month comprehensive training, including classroom group sessions and one‑on‑one skills training.
  • New graduates encouraged to apply.
