Nurse Educator
We are seeking an experienced RN – Nurse Educator to support clinical education and professional development within a healthcare setting. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical expertise and experience in nursing education, with ICU/critical care experience strongly preferred.
The Nurse Educator will be responsible for delivering the current curriculum, conducting clinical follow-up with orientees, and overseeing certification programs.
Candidates are not required to create or develop new curriculum.
- Carry out and teach the existing nursing curriculum.
- Provide clinical follow-up and support for orientees.
- Oversee and coordinate certification programs.
- Support staff development and ongoing clinical education.
- Apply strong clinical knowledge and expertise in patient care.
- Collaborate with clinical teams and leadership to support educational objectives.
- Ensure educational activities align with established clinical and organizational standards.
- Master’s degree in Education – REQUIRED
- Active New York State RN License – REQUIRED
- AHA BLS – REQUIRED
- Experience in perioperative nursing, critical care nursing, and/or medical-surgical nursing.
- Strong clinical expertise.
- ICU/Critical Care experience strongly preferred
- Previous experience as a Nurse Educator or in a clinical education role.
