About This Role

The Registered Nurse Per Diem in Ambulatory Care Services Clinic at NYU Langone Health is responsible for delivering patient care with a focus on assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation. This role is ideal for a nurse with at least one year of Med/Surg experience who is committed to providing compassionate care.

• Collect patient healthcare data systematically and on an ongoing basis.
• Demonstrate knowledge of the NYU Langone Health Core Values.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members.
• Participate in coordination of unit activities for patient care.
• Support the mission and standards of the institution and nursing departments.
• Differentiate professional nursing practice from activities that may be delegated.
• Participate in Unit Practice Council and Nursing Wide Councils.
• Engage in quality improvement programs and activities.
• Maintain awareness of current evidence-based practice.
• Educate patients and families to facilitate health adjustments.

Education:

• Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing required

Experience:

• Minimum of one year nursing experience required

Licenses &

Certifications:

• Current Registered Professional Nurse in New York
• BLS Certified through the American Heart Association
