• Facility: NYU Langone Orthopedic Hospital
• Department/Unit: Recovery Room
• Schedule: Full-Time, Evening shift

• Collect patient healthcare data systematically and on an ongoing basis.
• Demonstrate knowledge of NYU Langone Health Core Values in performance.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members and promote collegial relationships.
• Participate in coordination of unit activities for patient care.
• Support the mission, philosophy, and standards of the institution.
• Differentiate professional nursing practice from activities that may be delegated.
• Participate in Unit Practice Council and Nursing Wide Councils.
• Engage in quality improvement programs to enhance satisfaction.
• Maintain awareness of current evidence-based practices.
• Educate patients and families to facilitate health adjustments.

Education:

• Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing required

Experience:

• Minimum of one year critical care or PACU nursing experience

Licenses &

Certifications:

• Current Registered Nurse License in New York
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certified through the American Heart Association
