About This Role

The Per Diem Supervisor, Home Care at NYU Langone Health is responsible for establishing and maintaining standards of patient care, directing personnel, and maximizing patient outcomes. This role is ideal for experienced RNs looking to take on leadership responsibilities in a collaborative environment.

• Pay: $68.40 - $75.38 Hourly
• Location: Brooklyn, NY
• Facility: NYU Langone Hospital—Long Island
• Department/Unit: Home Care
• Schedule: Full-Time, Day shift

• Works collaboratively with the Administrator/Director of Patient Services.
• Establishes, monitors, and evaluates standards of patient care.
• Screens inquiries and referrals for Home Care service.
• Participates in multidisciplinary process improvement activities.
• Assures compliance with regulatory agencies and agency policies.
• Employs, orients, trains, supervises, and appraises nursing staff.
• Assesses healthcare of patients and documents responses to care.
• Collaborates on assessment of patient's clinical status with team members.
• Ensures provision of age-appropriate and safe care/service.
• Responds to organizational information requests for reports and data.

• Education: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing required
• Experience: 3-5 years in Clinical Nursing required; 1-2 years in Community Health nursing preferred
