RN Supervisor

Role: RN Supervisor at a skilled nursing facility, overseeing unit activities and staff, ensuring quality patient care, and responding to resident needs.

• Organize, supervise, and coordinate nursing staff and unit operations.
• Monitor and document vital signs, treatments, and patient responses.
• Administer medications and treatments as needed.
• Communicate effectively with team members, residents, families, and medical staff.
• Lead emergency responses and ensure safety protocols are followed.
• Perform assessments following incidents or changes in patient condition.
• Maintain accurate reports, staffing sheets, and census records.
• Identify and address disciplinary issues per policy.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and external vendors/services.

• Current RN license in New York State.
• Experience with geriatrics, rehabilitation, or Alzheimer's care preferred.
• Progressive nursing experience, supervisory experience a plus.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, organizational, and customer service skills.
• Ability to work under pressure, flexible, and team-oriented.
• Patience and compassion for residents with diverse needs.
