RN – Emergency Department | Travel Contract

Contract: 9 Weeks
Schedule: Nights | 3×12s | 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
Hours: 34.5 Hours/Week
Weekend: Every Other Weekend Required

• 2 years of RN experience – Required

• Emergency Department experience

• 1 year of travel nursing experience – Required

• BSN – Required

• Active New York State RN License

• BLS, ACLS, PALS & NIHSS – Required

• EPIC experience highly preferred

• Strong patient assessment, critical thinking, and care management skills

• Community Emergency Department

• Approximately 180–200 daily visits

• 46-bed ED

• Zoned nursing / primary care model

• 3×12-hour night shifts

• Weekend requirements are variable, with EOW required

• Work at Mount Sinai West

• High-volume Emergency Department environment

• Interdisciplinary collaboration and evidence-based nursing practice

• Charge nurse responsibilities may be assigned

• Focus on quality, patient safety, and patient-centered care
