LVN​/LPN Pediatric

Job Summary:

Provides high-quality pediatric nursing care in a clinical setting through assessment, treatment, and education. Collaborates with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes and compliance with clinical standards.

Responsibilities:

• Administer pediatric patient care following established protocols and procedures.
• Monitor patient conditions, reporting significant changes to the healthcare team.
• Maintain accurate and thorough documentation using EPIC or related electronic health record systems.
• Implement infection control practices and ensure adherence to safety standards.
• Support performance improvement initiatives and assist with delegation of tasks.
• Participate in patient education and family communication to promote understanding and compliance.

Qualifications:

• Graduate from an accredited Licensed Practical Nursing program.
• Current NYS license and registration as an LPN.
• Valid AHA BLS certification.
• Knowledge of infection control, performance improvement principles, and delegation.
• Pediatric nursing experience preferred; LPN training with pediatric exposure a plus.
• Ability to work Monday-Friday, with flexibility based on departmental needs, shifts from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM or 9:15 AM to 5:15 PM.
