WCS Healthcare is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join a well-established social services organization supporting a school serving children with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD). As a valued member of the healthcare team, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Provide triage, first aid, and nursing care to students with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR).
• Ensure compliance with all agency policies, professional nursing standards, and applicable OPWDD, OMH, and DOH regulations.
• Adhere to HIPAA and all patient confidentiality and privacy requirements.
• Collaborate effectively with families, school staff, interdisciplinary teams, and outside healthcare providers to coordinate patient care.
• Promote a safe, supportive, and healthy school environment for all students.

• Active New York State Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Minimum of one (1) year of experience working with the OPWDD or I/DD population.
• Pediatric nursing experience required
• Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
