Key Responsibilities of the Long-Term Care Nurse

Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
Perform medication passes accurately and safely
Monitor and report changes in resident condition
Complete timely and accurate documentation
Provide nursing care in accordance with facility policies
Supervise CNAs on assigned units

Requirements of the Long-Term Care Nurse

Active NY State License
BLS certification
Minimum of 1 year of Long-Term Care or Skilled Nursing experience
