About This Role
The Clinical Nurse I position in the Medical Stepdown Unit at New York-Presbyterian involves providing specialized nursing care for critically-ill patients, including ventilator management and cardiac monitoring. This role is ideal for compassionate nurses looking to advance patient care in a supportive environment.
Highlights- Pay: $129,681-$141,006/Annual
- Location: New York, NY
- Facility: New York-Presbyterian/The Allen Hospital
- Schedule: Full-Time, Night shift
- Care for critically-ill patients in a 25-bed Medical Stepdown Unit.
- Provide specialized nursing care, including ventilator management.
- Monitor cardiac activity and administer vasoactive medications.
Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing required.
Experience:
- 1-2 years of RN experience in acute care preferred.
- 1 year of RN stepdown/telemetry experience preferred.
Licenses &
Certifications:
- Current NYS RN licensure (or willingness to obtain).
- BCLS certification required.
- ACLS certification preferred.
