About This Role
The Clinical Nurse I - RN in Surgical Oncology at New York-Presbyterian provides compassionate care to oncology patients, administering chemotherapy, managing symptoms, and supporting families as part of a multidisciplinary team. This per diem position is ideal for nurses seeking flexible scheduling and a commitment to excellence in patient care.
Highlights- Pay: $86.26/hour
- Location: New York, NY
- Facility: NYP/Columbia University Medical Center
- Schedule: Per Diem, Day shift
- Administer chemotherapy and manage symptoms for oncology patients.
- Support patients and educate families about treatment processes.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Education:
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing required
- Experience:
- At least 2 years of acute care RN experience in oncology preferred
- Licenses &
Certifications:- Current New York State RN license (or willingness to obtain)
- BCLS certification required
- Oncology Nursing Certification preferred
