Job Description:
Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for a Med/Surg unit with a focus on patient care. The RN will manage a patient ratio of 1:9 and will have the support of PCA Techs on the unit. Responsibilities include and are not limited to assessment, planning, and implementing nursing care for patients with various diagnoses including vents, ortho, and general Med/Surg.
Responsibilities:
- Provide care for patients in a Med/Surg setting.
- Effectively manage patient care with a 1:9 ratio.
- Utilize EPIC for charting and documentation.
- Participate in patient assessments and care planning.
- Ensure compliance with facility protocols and safety standards.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:
- Minimum of 2 years of RN experience in a Med/Surg setting.
- Current New York RN License.
- BLS Certification.
- Proof of COVID Vaccination.
- EPIC experience is required.
