About This Role
The Senior Ambulatory Care Nurse (FGP) - OB/GYN, IVF is responsible for providing patient care with a focus on the nursing process, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation. This role is ideal for a nurse who excels in collaborative environments and is committed to delivering compassionate care.

- Department/Unit: NYU Grossman School of Medicine
- Schedule: Full-Time, Day shift
- Provide patient care emphasizing decision-making related to the nursing process.
- Collaborate with providers to formulate and implement a comprehensive patient-centered plan of care.
- Give staff educational in-services and instruct classes in BLS for staff.
- Collect patient healthcare data systematically using appropriate assessment techniques.
- Analyze assessment data to determine diagnoses.
- Identify expected outcomes and anticipate unexpected or adverse outcomes.
- Provide emergency care in accordance with the Centers policy.
- Develop and implement a plan of care with prescribed interventions.
- Evaluate patients' progress toward expected outcomes.
- Educate patients and families to promote healthy adjustments to new health patterns.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited institution required
- 3 years nursing experience required
Certifications:
- Current Registered Professional Nurse in New York
- Basic Life Support Certification through the American Heart Association
- ACLS certification preferred
