About This Role
The Registered Nurse - RN - Adult Psychiatric 6
South position at New York-Presbyterian involves providing exceptional care to patients in a psychiatric setting during night shifts. This role is ideal for nurses committed to excellence and compassionate patient care.
- Pay: $118,134-$155,787/Annual
- Location: Brooklyn, NY
- Facility: New York-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital
- Schedule: Full-Time, Night shift (7:30PM-8:00AM)
- Provide nursing care to adult psychiatric patients.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop patient care plans.
- Monitor and assess patient conditions and responses to treatment.
- Implement crisis management and de-escalation techniques.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
- Participate in patient education and discharge planning.
- Rotate weekends and alternate holidays as required.
- Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing required - Experience:
Experience in an acute psychiatric or inpatient setting preferred - Licenses &
Certifications:
Current New York State RN license;
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from American Heart Association required
