DescriptionThe NYU Rory Meyers College of Nursing invites applications for tenure track or tenured positions, at the level of Assistant/Associate/Full Professor rank, with a start date of September 1, 2027.
Tenured/tenure-track faculty contribute to the College’s research and educational strengths with the vision and experience to advance our global mission. Tenured/tenure-track faculty at Meyers grow a rigorous and impactful extramurally funded program of research; teach across our academic programs; advocate for policies to advance health; and perform service activities at NYU, with the communities we serve, and as leaders within local, national, and global professional organizations.
We seek faculty with emerging or established research programs grounded in:
Innovative clinical applications for technology and artificial intelligence
Precision health, biomarkers, omic-based approaches, or other translational and biobehavioral research
Community participatory methods
Palliative care research and practice
And applied through one of the established NYU Meyers research pillars:
Aging & Serious Illness:
Research on aging, palliative and end-of-life care, dementia, and caregiving
Health Services Research (HSR):
Research on healthcare delivery, nursing workforce, quality and safety, and digital health innovation.
Maternal, Reproductive, and Child Health:
Research to improve the health and well-being of women, children, adolescents, and families across the life course.
Population Precision Health & Chronic Conditions:
Research that integrates biomolecular, behavioral, symptom, and social science to advance precision health, chronic condition research, and chronic disease prevention
