Nurse Manager Operating Room

We’re looking for a Nurse Manager who can develop and implement short- and long-term goals while providing strong clinical and administrative leadership for the Operating Room. Bring your sound judgment, collaborative approach, and commitment to continuous improvement to a team focused on safe, high-quality patient care.

• Develop and implement short- and long-term departmental goals aligned with hospital priorities
• Recruit, mentor, develop, and retain nursing staff while ensuring appropriate staffing levels and competencies
• Manage departmental budgets, staffing resources, productivity, and cost-control initiatives
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, Joint Commission, Department of Health, CMS, and other regulatory requirements
• Lead quality improvement, patient safety, and performance improvement initiatives
• Promote patient, employee, and physician satisfaction by addressing concerns and implementing improvements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing;
  Master’s Degree preferred
• Current New York State RN license
• Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification
• 3–5 years of progressively responsible nursing leadership experience
• Demonstrated leadership in patient care, quality improvement, and unit-based outcomes

• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Computer proficiency and the ability to work effectively with physicians and multidisciplinary teams
• Strong organizational, decision-making, and problem-solving skills
