About This Role
The Clinical Nurse Manager for Pediatric Medical Surgical Units at New York-Presbyterian is responsible for managing the delivery of patient care, ensuring efficient operations, and promoting a culture of safety and quality. Full-Time, Evening shift
- Manage the delivery of patient care in Pediatric Medical Surgical, Oncology, and Progressive Care Units.
- Facilitate efficient daily operations related to patient throughput, including admissions, discharges, and transfers.
- Promote a culture of safety and quality by implementing established standards, protocols, policies, and procedures.
- Collaborate with the Patient Care Director to establish unit goals aligned with the hospital's strategic goals.
- Monitor staff compliance with regulatory, hospital, and divisional requirements.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing required
- Master's degree in Nursing or related field preferred
- A minimum of two years acute Pediatric nursing experience required
- Previous leadership experience preferred
- Current New York State RN license (or willingness to obtain)
- BCLS certification required
- National Certification preferred
