Occupational Health Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant – Mon–Fri Days | Locum Tenens Contract

Rhino Medical is leading the charge seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) for a full-time Occupational Health contract opportunity in Manhattan
.
This is a hands‑on onsite position supporting the health needs of employees in an active construction environment
, with a strong emphasis on acute injury assessment, musculoskeletal complaints, first aid, early intervention, and appropriate clinical disposition
.
If your background includes Occupational Health, Urgent Care, Emergency Medicine, or another setting where you're comfortable evaluating workplace and musculoskeletal injuries, this is an opportunity to put that experience to work on a consistent weekday schedule.
- Location: New York, New York
- Assignment: September 21–October 30, 2026
- Schedule: Monday–Friday
- Hours: 6:30 AM–3:00 PM
- Full‑time contract
- Onsite Occupational Health
- OSHA experience preferred
Clinical Focus
You'll serve as an onsite clinical resource with an emphasis on timely evaluation and appropriate management of workplace health concerns.
- Evaluate acute workplace injuries and health concerns
- Assess musculoskeletal complaints and injuries
- Perform focused histories and physical examinations
- Provide first aid and treatment within APP scope of practice
- Support early intervention following workplace injuries
- Determine when additional or higher‑level medical evaluation is appropriate
- Provide appropriate follow‑up assessment
- Complete required clinical documentation
- Support workplace injury‑prevention initiatives
- Collaborate with onsite Occupational Health and safety stakeholders
What We're Looking For
- Current credentials appropriate to practice in New York
- Recent hands‑on clinical experience
- Strong acute assessment and clinical decision‑making skills
- Comfortable evaluating musculoskeletal and workplace injuries
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Comfortable practicing in an active construction‑site environment
Highly Relevant Experience
- Occupational or Industrial Health
- Urgent Care
- Musculoskeletal / orthopedic care
- Workers' compensation
- Acute injury management
- OSHA experience
Providers with strong transferable acute‑care experience are encouraged to apply even if their background has not been exclusively Occupational Health.
