About This Role

The Manager of Patient Care Services, RN-Gynecologic Oncology is responsible for overseeing nursing practice and operations within the Gyn Oncology unit at Mount Sinai Chelsea. This role is ideal for experienced nursing leaders who are committed to maintaining high standards of patient care and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

What You’ll Do
  • Manage clinical nursing practice and operations on the designated unit/service.
  • Supervise and evaluate nursing personnel to maintain standards of care.
  • Plan, direct, coordinate, and facilitate the delivery of nursing care.
  • Collaborate with the Nursing Clinical Director and Physician Leader.
  • Participate in performance improvement activities within the department.
  • Maintain compliance with New York State Department of Health regulations.
  • Oversee nursing staff performance evaluations and attendance monitoring.
  • Participate in the orientation and evaluation of new nursing staff.
  • Ensure confidentiality in the management of patient and employee information.
  • Act as a resource for staff regarding nursing policies and procedures.
Requirements

Education: BSN required, Master's Degree in Nursing or health-related field preferred.

Experience: Minimum of three years of progressive nursing leadership experience.

Licenses &

Certifications:

Current BCLS certification required; ACLS and PALS certifications required for specific departments.
