Pay Rate: $50/hour
Employment Type: PRN
Schedule: Day Shift, Monday through Friday, as needed
Why This Role MattersAs an Occupational Health & Wellness Registered Nurse, you will play a key role in supporting the health, safety, and well-being of employees. Your expertise will help promote a healthy workforce through preventative care, wellness initiatives, injury management, and employee health education.
What You'll Do- Provide occupational health nursing services for employees
- Assess and manage workplace illnesses and injuries
- Coordinate return-to-work programs and workplace accommodations
- Conduct health screenings, wellness assessments, and immunization clinics
- Deliver health education on stress management, nutrition, chronic disease prevention, and healthy lifestyle choices
- Maintain employee health records in compliance with HIPAA and applicable regulations
- Support emergency response and first aid programs
- Monitor occupational health trends and recommend preventive interventions
- Collaborate with Human Resources, Benefits, and Employee Assistance Program teams
- Promote employee wellness initiatives and engagement programs
- A current, up-to-date resume
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New York
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN preferred) or Associate’s degree in Nursing
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience required, ideally in occupational health, employee health, corporate wellness, or case management
- Strong clinical assessment, communication, and organizational skills
- Experience conducting health screenings, wellness coaching, or employee health programs preferred
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism
- Ability to meet compliance requirements
- Flexible PRN schedule with weekday daytime hours
