Description:

Facility is a state-run long-term care center. It includes rehabilitation therapies, skilled nursing, memory care, wound care, and more. The night shift is slower-paced. Ratios are 1:18-20 in a 300-bed facility. Candidates with Alzheimer's and dementia patient population experience are preferred. Weekend work will be required every other weekend upon request. Candidates must be able to pass a medication administration test and clinical observation.

Responsibilities include administering medications and treatments as prescribed. Nurses will monitor changes in resident conditions and report findings. Timely and accurate documentation is a requirement. Nursing care must align with facility policies. Nurses will supervise CNAs on assigned units. Qualifications include being organized and detail-oriented. Excellent communication skills are needed. A personable and professional demeanor is essential. Candidates must be able to work with individuals from diverse cultures and personalities.

Being a team player with a positive attitude is important. Additional requirements include flexibility with scheduling needs. Candidates must provide proof of licensure upon submission. RTO requests will only be approved at the time of submission and will not be accepted after an offer is made. Call-outs must be given with more than 24 hours' notice. Clinical issues while on assignment will be investigated, and the center will inform about next steps following the investigation.
