Description:

Facility is a state government-run long-term care center. The facility includes rehabilitation therapies, skilled nursing, memory care, wound care, and more. The position requires administering medications and treatments as prescribed. The role involves performing medication passes accurately and safely. Monitoring and reporting changes in resident conditions are essential. Timely and accurate documentation is required. Nursing care must be provided in accordance with facility policies.

You will supervise CNAs on assigned units. A patient ratio of 1:18-20 is expected in a 300-bed facility. Every other weekend may be required as per center request. First-timers are accepted for the role. Candidates must be able to pass a medication administration test and clinical observation. The facility cannot accept Canadian Citizens;
American Citizens only. One verified reference is required prior to contract start. Modules must be completed 3 days prior to the start date. If a clinical issue arises during the assignment, the clinician may be asked to go home while an investigation takes place. Communication with the center will determine next steps after the investigation.
