Registered Nurse (RN), School Nurse for 2026 to 2027 School Year NYC Public Schools | All 5 Boroughs $50 to $55+ per hour | 1099 Independent Contractor

We are actively recruiting Registered Nurses for school coverage assignments for the upcoming school year in all NYC schools.

This is a great opportunity for nurses who want school-day hours, meaningful clinical work, and the flexibility to take assignments that fit their schedule.

• Provide nursing coverage during the school day in assigned schools
• Administer medication and basic clinical care as needed
• Support students with chronic health conditions
• Respond to school-based health concerns and emergencies
• Complete required documentation and maintain health records
• Coordinate with school teams and families to promote student well-being

• Active NYS RN license
• At least 1 year of Registered Nurse experience
• Current CPR and First Aid certification
• Experience in pediatrics, school nursing, or community health preferred
• Strong assessment skills and ability to work independently
